Human Rights court ignores Ashanti Gold SC case against Ghana FA; Betpawa PL sets to resume

• Ghana Premier League is set to return after three weeks

The league was suspended following the injunction filed on Wednesday, September 28, at the Human Rights High Court by Ashantigold SC.

But the court has dismissed the case and has charged the Miners to pay Gh¢ 20,000 to the Ghan Football Association as a compensation fee following the ruling.

However, the Ghana Football Association will announce a resuming date for the league to continue from week 4.

The league was suspended after week three and three teams, Berekum Chelsea, Aduana Stars and Great Olympics are all tied with seven points on the league table.

The Ghanaian top-flight league is expected to break the week before the World Cup in Qatar.
