CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe will travel to Mozambique on Friday morning for the final of the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations Mozambique 2022 in Vilankulos.
The following day, Saturday, 29 October 2022, the CAF President will be in Malawi in Lilongwe for the African Schools Football Championship COSAFA Zonal Qualifiers. This is the second Zonal Qualifiers after the successful launch of the Zonal Phase Qualifiers with UNAF in Egypt.
The African Schools Football Championship is one of CAF’s flagship programmes to develop boys and girls football in Africa focusing on Schools and grassroots. 41 countries, 18 000 schools and 450 000 young African boys and girls have taken part in the first ever edition of the Africa Schools Football Programme.
In Mozambique on Friday, the President will watch the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations Mozambique final between current champions, Senegal and Egypt at Vilankulo Beach Soccer Arena at 15h00.
The match will be live on a number of platforms including the CAF YouTube page.
