Highlights: Hearts of Oak 2-1 Bibiani Gold Stars

Isaac Mwnsah and Gladson Awako were on target as Hearts of Oak won 2-1 at home to hand Slavko Matić a winning start following his arrival as replacement for Samuel Boadu.

Prince Owusu scored a 9th minute goal to snatch a first half lead for the guests but Isaac Mensah climbed from the bench to level the game in the second half.

The visitors found themselves struggling following the red card. It gave the hosts an advantage to dominate as Gladson Awako scored an 88th minute winning goal to claim first Premier League win of the season for Hearts of Oak.

Hearts of Oak had not kept a clean sheet in their first four fixtures in the league. They are fifth on the league table with 5 points.
