Mohammed Alhassan dropped, Fatawu Mohammed benched as Hearts coach Slavko Matić names strong starting XI to face Bibiani Gold Stars



Slavko Matić has made four changes to his team to face Bibiani Gold Stars as he eyes victory in his debut GPL game.

Hearts of Oak play host to the Golden Boys at the Accra Sports Stadium this afternoon. Having struggled in their first three fixtures, the Rainbows will aim to snatch their first victory in the league today despite the absence of Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Suraj Seidu.

They have a strong chance of winning the maximum points to please their fans after the elimination from the CAF Confederations Cup.


The Serbian tactician looks set to make a mark for his first GPL game. In his line-up, Richmond Ayi starts in goal ahead of Eric Ofori Antwi while Inkoom play alongside Dennis Korsah, Konadu Yiadom and Robert Addo Sowah in defence while Mohammed Alhassan sit back for the game.

In midfield, Eric Esso makes start to partner Awako and Caleb Amankwa who plays as a defensive midfielder.

In the absence of Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Gideon Asante comes into the attack with Obeng Junior and Yassan Outching, meaning Kaaba and Isaac Mensah start from the bench.
