Six changes hit Kotoko’s line-up as Coach Seydou Zerbo parades strong side for Kumasi derby against King Faisal

Asante Kotoko return back to the domestic action today as they face King Faisal in the Ashanti Regional derby at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The gaffer for the Porcupine Warriors, Seydou Zerbo made six changes to his starting XI that defeated Nsoatreman FC before the suspension of the league weeks ago.

Seydou Zerbo’s side aim to make it three unbeaten in the local league to surpass their rivals Hearts of Oak in the table, who sit a point above them in tenth.

The Porcupines will be without Danlad Ibrahim, Isaac Oppon and Georges Mfegue.

Danlad is unavailable for selection after helping the Black Galaxies to beat Mozambique in the U-23 AFCON qualifiers while Oppong and Mfegue will miss the clash due to injury.

Frederick Asare comes in to replace Danlad Ibrahim with Christopher Nettey, Andrew Appau, Dickson Afoakwa, Nicholas Mensah and Richmond Lamptey returning to the starting line-up for the reigning champions.
