Seydou Zerbo makes four changes in Kotoko’s line-up to welcome Legon Cities

Matchday 7 in the BetPawa Premier League brings about plenty of drama, after last weekend’s slate. With FIFA World Cup happening on Sunday, the Porcupine Warriors aim to stay in the top four.

The headliner of matchday 7 will be Kotoko and Legon Cities with the Porcupines aiming to claim their third consecutive win at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Having recovered well from their first loss of the season, which came at Bechem United the reigning champions have won back-to-back games. They defeated Samartex 2-1 and Medeama 1-0, and they will be confident going into the game against Legon Cities.

Asante Kotoko is expected to beat Legon Cities in front of their fans, with a victory likely to propel them to the top of the table.

However, Seydou Zerbo has made four changes to his line-up with Frederick Asare, Enoch Morrison, Georges Mfegue, and Shadrack Addo coming in as replacements for Danlad Ibrahim, Dickson Afoakwa, Richard Boadu, and Samuel Boateng.

Danlad Ibrahim has been named among the final 26-man squad of the Black Stars for the upcoming FIFA World.

Legon Cities claimed a 3-1 victory in their last visit to Baba Yara Sports Stadium against Kotoko but Seydou Zerbo will hope to overturn it and eye a good position on the league table before the World Cup break.
