Co-owner of American top-flight league outfit FC Cincinnati, Jeff Berding has arrived in the West African country to visit Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak.
He landed in Ghana on Friday evening as part of the partnership agreement between the two clubs.
Major League Soccer side FC Cincinnati has a partnership deal with Hearts of Oak and German Bundesliga outfit TSG Hoffenheim called Common Value Club Alliance.
He is in Ghana for a three-day visit and is expected to meet the Executive Board Chairman Togbe Afede XIV and inspect the facilities of the club and to strengthen the bond between the teams.
“Jeff Berding, co-owner of F/C Cincinnati has arrived in Ghana to start a working visit to Hearts of Oak as part of our Common Value Club Alliance (CVCA) activities.” the club’s official statement reads.
“He was met on arrival by Board member, Hon. Vincent Sowah Odotei and Acting General Manager, Bernard Gyebi at the Kotoka International Airport”,
Berding will wrap up his visit to Hearts of Oak with an attendance to their Ghana Premier League match-week eight game against Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
