The Mundial 2022 kickoff today as host nation Qatar will lock horns with Ecuador in the opener of the tournament. 32 nations will be competing for the ultimate and Ghana is among the countries.
The Black Stars of Ghana who are in group H will kickstart their mundial campaign against Portugal on Thursday as they will be eager to get a favourable result in order to give them confidence in their subsequent games.
Speaking in an interview with the Ghana Sports page, Amanda Clinton, who was once contesting for the presidency of the Ghana Football Association has disclosed that,” she will be expecting a very good performance from the black Stars. She went on to state that, the Black Stars will be part of the top two countries that will qualify from Group H.
Amanda Clinton went on to say that, The Black Stars will reach the semifinals of the competition.
The team are currently in Qatar training intensively for their first game.
