President of the Republic of Ghana His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo has paid a visit to the Black Stars ahead of their 2022 World Cup opener against Portugal on Thursday.
The president was aboard a Qatar Airways flight on Wednesday evening to Doha and has arrived in the Arab county safely.
Black Stars will begin their World Cup campaign against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal at stadium 947 today .
The President gave some words of encouragement to the team as they face a difficult opponent in the mundial.
Ghana will be hoping to progress from the group stage at this year’s Mundial.
