2022 World Cup: Decision to take off Mohammed Kudus was poor – Asamoah Gyan descend on Otto Addo after Portugal defeat

Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan has descended heavily on Black Stars coach Otto Addo for substituting Mohamed Kudus in the 3-2 reverse against Portugal on Thursday evening.

Gyan is not the only footballer to criticize the coach for his decisions in the game with former Rangers manager Ally McCoist bashing him for wasting the Ajax star .

He was obviously Ghana’s best performer in the game as he attempted 2 shots with 1 on target and provided Andrew Ayew with the assist to level the score for Ghana.

He also completed 4 dribbles – the highest by any player on the Stadium 974 field.

“The decision to substitute Kudus Mohamed was entirely wrong. This is a player that has just assisted Andrew Ayew to score so why do you have to take him off the game ? It was a poor decision because he could have produced a magical moment for the side “, he said on SuperSport TV.
