The Black Stars survived a second-half scare from the Taegeuk Warriors but managed to secure three points nonetheless

Ghana did their chances of reaching the knock-out stage a world of good after defeating South Korea in the Group H game played on Monday.

Having lost their opening game against Portugal 3-2, the Black Stars needed a good result against South Korea, who had shared the spoils in their first match against Uruguay.

It was an exciting five-goal thriller that ended in favour of Ghana who will now play the South Americans in their final group-stage game.
