The Ghana Football Association is set to look for a new coach after Otto Addo’s exit following Ghana’s disappointing World Cup elimination in the hands of their continental enemies, Uruguay.
Coach Harve Renard is believed to be the main candidate to succeed Otto Addo in the Black Stars dugout. The Frenchman is currently with the Saudi Arabian national team as their head coach.
According to report, as many as four coaches are included in GFA’s shortlist with the names of the suitors to take over the Black Stars coaching job.
Harve Renard is one of the names in the list along with the three technical staff of the Black Stars, Chris Hughton, George Boateng and Didi Dramani.
Harve Renard is one of the foreign coaches to succeed in African football.
He has previously been the manager of Zambia national team, with whom he won the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations; he also won the competition in 2015 with the Ivory Coast, becoming the first coach to win two Africa Cup of Nations with different teams.
This might be the second coming of the 54-year-old tactician to Ghanaian football, having worked as the physical trainer of the national team fifteen years ago.

They had an impressive performance in the competition in Qatar despite their early exit.
