Two notable surprises as Asante Kotoko coach Seydou names starting XI for Great Olympics game

Asante Kotoko coach Seydou Zerbo has named his men for this afternoon Ghana Premier league encounter with Accra Great Olympics at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Young goalkeeper Fredrick Asare will be in post with Sheriff Mohammed and Charles Owusu starting from the right and left side of the defense respectively.

Sheriff makes his first match day squad after a seven-month absence due to an injury he sustained last season when he played a vital role in Asante Kotoko’s journey in clinching the Ghana Premier league last season.

Although Justice Blay has been ruled out of the game, Shadrack Addo returns to the squad to face Olympics.

In attack, Nicholas Osei Bonsu and Eric Zeze would partner in form Steven Mukwala in the striking role.

Below is the Asante Kotoko line up;

Frederick Asare
Sheriff Mohammed
Charles Owusu
Yussif Mubarik
Maxwell Agyemang
Richard Boadu
Shadrack Addo
Eric Zeze
Richmond Lamptey
Steven Mukwala
Nicholas Osei Bonsu
