Confirmed: Kotoko Coach Seydou Zerbo names SOLID starting XI to face Benab FC

Asante Kotoko will be playing as the away side to Benab FC in the FA Cup round of 32 fixture at their home grounds, the Baba Yara sports stadium this evening.

The Reds are determined to shift back to winning ways as they challenge for a spot in the round of 16 of the MTN FA Cup.

Kotoko come into the game having eliminated Bechem United 4-2 on penalties in the last stage of the competition.

And despite their run of four consecutive draws in the BetPawa Premier League, they still look favourites in today’s clash.

To book a place in the next round, the Porcupine Warriors will need to be at their best and defeat an exciting Benab FC on Saturday.

The lower-tier side, defeated Soccer 4 Souls FC on penalties to reach this stage.

However, Seydou Zerbo’s men will hope to show no mercy as Steven Mukwala spearheads the attack along with George Mfegue.

Enoch Morrison and Richmond Lamptey have both returned to the first team after missing their last Premier League game against Gold Stars, having served mandatory suspension with card accumulations.

Asare will be in goal – Mohammed Sheriff will partner Maxwell Agyemang and Nicholas Osei Bonsu in defence.

Richard Boadu will captain the side in midfield. Steven Amankona and Justice Blay are all in action.

Here is Kotoko’s starting XI against Benab FC:

Frederick Asare GK

Sheriff Mohammed

Nicholas Bonsu

Justice Blay

Maxwell Agyemang

Richard Boadu Agadas

Enoch Morrison

Steven Amankona

Richmond Lamptey
